So today, something extremely unfortunate happened.
I decided to illustrate this in a crudely drawn comic, since I've been dying to draw but have been too tired/busy to do so:

Essentially, my TA spilled all of my sample that had taken three hours on Tuesday to prepare. That I needed to use today, to take my measurements. Sample spilled all over the floor, shattered the glass, everything.

Yup.

I miraculously finished the experiment, using a microfiltered of my unknown sample (0.046g) to perform several mixed melting points, then amazingly redid the entire experiment in 45 minutes.

So um.
I'm supposed be writing my 4-page prelab of organic chemistry and prepping for section tomorrow but man, I am tired of looking at hexagonal ring structures and functional groups! And I have to be awake at 6:30am so that means it's time to draw and post on the art blog!

-Shifuu, bara-chan's sniper drawn as a commission during AWA'09! She graciously scanned it for me to display though every scanner kills colors. Copic + watercolor mixed media.
-Sorcerer class on Ragnarok Online came out and the design is absolutely disgusting. I tried some concepts to make it less disgusting but it's still pretty gross.
-Uhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah Pyo got me addicted to Restaurant City and these are our characters.....

Classwork and Life Drawing

So I was putting a portfolio together today, and thought I'd post some of the stuff I was throwing in it here. Why? Because I NEVER post my classwork ANYWHERE. I'm rather self conscious of it, since most of it is unfinished and unrefined, but... somehow it looks pretty cool when you put a bunch of it together for a portfolio piece.

For some reason, blue pencil scans HORRIBLY. My tight roughs are much cleaner than they appear to be here, honestly.

All the the charcoal drawings on the right one are about the size of Finni, or maybe a bit smaller. I hated lugging that giant sketchpad a mile across town.

So, I decided to draw me old flame, Marluxia.

Bee Station finished

...or at least as finished as it's going to bee, (hahaha, so punny~).

I'm kind of tired of looking at this and all it's GREEN, so I don't really know what to say about it right now. IT IS DONE IN TIME FOR CLASS and for this I am glad.

My next project in Fantasy Illustration is to do a fight scene, and today we randomly picked what weapons the characters would be using from a hat. I got flowers as my weapon. Will I draw more six-winged bees and bumble knights? Maybe.

Poker Night

SAR and I have outdone ourselves. Again.
Another TF2 collab featuring Demoman and Engineer! I want to rework this image a little more, with some cards and stuff spilling elsewhere but MAN it is 2:30am and I have class tomorrow morning. Awesome!
